Today we welcome Auxiliary Bishop Jorge Rodriguez, who joins us for the 9:30 a.m. Mass as we formally inaugurate the Pastoral Care for Immigrants Committee here at Annunciation Parish. Thank you to Bishop Jorge Rodriguez for his leadership and pastoral care for immigrants throughout our Archdiocese, and for taking the time to be with us this weekend. Please continue to keep him and this ministry in your prayers.
With the encouragement and blessings of the Archdiocese, this ministry seeks to accompany our immigrant brothers and sisters during this time of uncertainty through prayer, direct service, theological formation, and practical support rooted in Catholic Social Teaching.
Today we are asking for volunteers:
• Volunteers to help observe and safeguard during Masses. Training will be provided.
• Volunteers to help deliver food from Twin Parishes to families sheltering in their homes.
• Volunteers to help deliver Marisol items to families with young children on Saturday mornings.
If you feel called to serve or would like more information, members of the committee will be at the back of the church after Mass with sign-up sheets.
Our youth group will also have a food sale after all Masses today to help support their upcoming pilgrimage to Rome, Assisi, and Medjugorje. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Join us Saturday, May 23 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight for our Pentecost Celebration at Annunciation Catholic Church. Mass, Adoration, praise and worship, and prayer. Check the bulletin or reach out to the prayer group for more information.
Registration is now open for our Summer Camp at Annunciation, June 1st–5th from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. for children ages 4–10. For more information or to register, please call the parish office at 303-296-1024 ext. 18.

2026: Year of St. Francis
On January 10th, Pope Leo XIV officially declared the 2026 Liturgical year as the year of St. Francis, marking the 800th year of his death. This special announcement invites the faithful from all over the world to join together, and follow closely the example of St. Francis of Assisi as a model of holiness.
This means special opportunities to receive plenary indulgences that come from celebrating this year. As a parish operated by the Franciscan Capuchin friars, this is exciting news for us, for ur parish community, school and food bank. Stay tuned to hear more ways to live out this special year of St. Francis.
